About The Project
At Medford Leas, we served as food service consultants, partnering with leadership and design teams, alongside The Hollyday Group, who conducted focus groups and led meal plan development to elevate the community's dining experience. The renovation was designed to adapt to evolving resident preferences, transitioning from traditional formal dining to a more flexible and engaging atmosphere. The existing large dining room was transformed into an all-in-one café lounge, tailored to meet the diverse needs of the community. It now includes a come-and-go coffee bar, a marketplace grab-and-go, and a fast-casual bistro with an open hearth oven, a cook-to-order grill, and a fresh station for soups and salads—all enhanced with new POS stations capable of online ordering for convenient, freshly prepared options. The outdoor dining area, known as The Terrace, features a fully covered outdoor kitchen for grill-based, cook-to-order service. This space allows residents and guests to dine in a natural setting, complete with comfortable seating and fire pits, enhancing the connection to the community’s beautiful nature preserve.
