Environment for Aging 2022 Spring
About The Project
Today's food service design prioritizes food safety, transparency, and operational flexibility. Strategic planning is essential to improve staffing, reduce labor, limit risk, and minimize food waste through simplified solutions and technology. Bringing excitement back to senior dining with new venues, varied offerings, and flexible hours is also crucial. SCOPOS was hired for this project after presenting at the EFA conference emphasizing these trends. Fleet Landing features a new standalone amenity building with a production kitchen and various dining options, including Meridian Lounge, Current Marketplace, 30 North formal dining, The Retreat private dining, and Waves Boutique gift shop. Healthcare venues include Sandhill Café, Beachwood Restaurant, Hammocks Café/In-Room Dining, and Tides Restaurant and Bar. SCOPOS ensured a strong brand presence across all venues, including an on-site branded food truck.

Branding Process
The Main Street branding package embodies the coastal vibe of the Fleet Landing community. From the naming process to the final fabrication, each brand has a story. “Currents” speaks to the fun, coastal environment and invites you to come and go, enjoy easy conversation, and freshly made casual fare any time of day. The Anchor food truck provides elevated street food shoreside, while Meridian promises upscale pub dining or a pre-dinner cocktail before fine dining at 30 North. These brands and others are implemented throughout the communities food service venues. From the signage to smallwares, uniforms, paper goods, and menus, each brand conveys an exciting personality that creates connection and brings value to the Fleet Landing community.
